Service Description: Evidence-based equine assisted life skills programs offered to people, families and groups

Equine Assisted Program (EAP) - For children, youth and young adults at risk or who have become involved with the Youth Criminal Justice System * teaches trust and responsibility * participants learn to address the root cause of their behaviours * hands-on approach with all activities performed from the ground

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) - Practical life skills and learning programs using horses as the teaching tool * strengthens communication, leadership, self-awareness, confidence and teamwork

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) - Participants learn about themselves and others through interaction with the horse * EAP is effective for behavioural issues, attention deficit disorder, abuse issues and anxiety

Additional programs address grief and loss, youth survivors of suicide and domestic and sexual assault *  healthy horse play youth programs * women's workshops * programs for military personnel

Application: Call to apply * justice or agency referral also accepted
Eligibility / Target Population: People of any age addressing mental health, addictions, grief and other health issues
